In an effort to realize Ethiopia’s aspiration to decarbonize its modes of transport we’ve established a National Electric Mobility Steering Committee.
This Committee will serve as a national platform bringing together different government line entities & the private sector representatives shifting Ethiopia’s Motorized Mobility towards electric powered modes of transport.
This will create a smooth & coordinated environment for the accelerated realization of the Electric Mobility Program. The Commitee will identify potential challenges & propose possible solutions to lay a foundation for a large scale adoption of electric mobility in Ethiopia.
The committee will work to identify issues; outline potential challenges, provide the required support & guidance on emerging issues in Electric Mobility development in Ethiopia. We plan to realize this through gradual, harnessed, researched & prioritized strategies.
