The GIZ – Energizing Development Ethiopia (EnDev) Project is looking for a consulting firm who are eligible to participate in this public bid, are herewith requested to submit their proposals “Conducting solar cooling and solar drier assessment and feasibility study on vegetable and fruit producing cooperatives and on seed producing cooperatives”.

Qualifications of the Consultants

Team Leader (National)

• Minimum of master’s degree or Diploma in agriculture, agriculture business development agricultural value chain development or related field
• Very good languages skills in Amharic and English
• 7 years professional experience in agriculture value chain development and agricultural business development
• 5 years in horticulture seed related value chain development
• Leadership/Management experience in three similar projects
• 3 Years of experience in Development Cooperation project
• Experience in productive use of renewable energy for agriculture purposes

Solar PV Expert (National)

• University qualification in electrical engineering, renewable energies or a relevant field
• Very good language skills in English and Amharic
• 10 years in solar PV design and Installation
• 5 years in productive use of solar energy such us solar cooling and/or solar irrigation
• 2 years’ experience in Development Cooperation
