Ethiopian Women in Energy association (EWiEn) is organizing an annual women in energy event 2021. Prominent women in the Ethiopian energy sector will be honored and awarded! The achievements and contributions of these influential women leaders from the energy sector will be recognized and celebrated.

The honorees in this event will be selected with a nomination from our members and stakeholders. 

The women who are eligible for this award are women that are working in the Ethiopian energy sector, whether as an entrepreneur, employed in the private, CSO, NGO or public sector. The nomination criteria for the EWiEn influential Women in Energy Award of the year is:

1. Excellence in their professional career
2. Exemplary leadership qualities
3. Impact on the energy sector,
4. Impact on gender
5. Impact on the community
